I went to Pennsylvania this past weekend to visit my Dad. At one point on Saturday morning, I had a couple of unexpected hours to kill, so I decided to visit a place I hadn’t been to in decades. This is Springfield Falls, located on Hunters Run in Leesburg, PA. It’s one of those out of the way places mostly only known to locals. As a very young man I proposed to a girl here. Because the Lord looks out for children and fools, we never made it to the altar.
On Saturday, I had the place totally to myself, and I spent a wonderful hour or so there basking in the peaceful serenity of the place. The image above is my favorite, but here are a few more.
